Director of Athletics/Activities

 

 

Mr. Josh Shoop rejoined the Knoch School District's administrative staff in the fall of 2023 as the District’s Athletic Director, having held the position of Athletic Director at Knoch from 2003 to 2013 as well.  Mr. Shoop having previously served in this very position, and being a Knoch graduate, meant he already possessed an in-depth understanding of our District’s values, athletic programs, and the importance Knoch places on sportsmanship, teamwork, and student growth. Mr. Shoop brought with him an impressive track record of leadership in athletics being an Athletic Director for the past 20 years for Knoch, Pine-Richland, and Plum School Districts. In each of these districts, he led efforts to foster a culture of excellence and instill school pride and commitment among student-athletes. Mr. Shoop understands the importance of communication, collaboration, and creating the conditions for student success as measured through personal and athletic growth.
