Mr. Russell and a group of students recently traveled to the Vault Recording Studio in Pittsburgh. There the students spend the day interacting with professionals who have actual records out and/or have worked with famous recording artists. They learn a bit about the business as a whole, then the actual recording process. Finally, they get a chance to record themselves making music and have the experience of editing it and mixing it with other students' pieces.
