KMS Students Compete at CalcuSolve

The sixth, seventh, and eighth gifted students competed in the 2023 CalcuSolve Math Competition at Duquesne University on February 2 and 3. 
 
The sixth graders competed in the Grade 5/6 division on Thursday, with over 500 students competing.  The 6th grade participants were Walker Stewart, Chase Sasse, and Dylan Avon.  
 
On Friday, the 7th and 8th graders competed in the grade 7/8 division.  With over 270 students competing, Liam Avon, grade 8, placed first with a perfect score!  Congratulations Liam!  The 7th grade participants were Melanie Mitchell, Kade Sundie, Carter Manzer, and Brady Bleicher.  8th grade participants were  Liam Avon, Jack McCool, and Carter Beres.
