Four Knoch students are members of the Butler YMCA Swim Team who competed in District Championships recently in Geneva, Ohio. Butler's Girls' team took 2nd place overall while their Boys' team took 3rd. Knoch's swimmers, Adrian Lavorini, Giona Lavorini, Ryan Karwoski, and Jacob Ruediger, contributed to that success. Adrian won six individual events, setting five new meet records. Giona also broke a meet record. The entire team will be competing this weekend in YMCA state meets at WVU. Nationals will be held April 2-7 in North Carolina, and Giona Lavorini has already qualified to compete there.
