The KHS Chorus classes were lucky enough to host world-renowned opera star and Knoch alumnus Marianne Cornetti in their classroom on Thursday. Ms. Cornetti shared stories of her time at Knoch, as well as her lifetime of accomplishments on stages around the world. This visit was not only intended to inspire the students to follow their dreams when it comes to the performing arts but also to prepare them for their visit to the Benedum to see the opera Il Trovatore the following evening. Ms. Cornetti plays the role of Azucena, and the students were even more excited to see the show after meeting her in person.
