Curriculum Available for Review

The Knoch School District will be purchasing new curriculum materials for Health and Spanish for the upcoming school year.  Teachers and administrators have been reviewing various options and have reached a consensus on the recommendation to the School Board for consideration.

At the May 10 School Board Meeting, Superintendent David Foley recommended the purchase of the Glencoe Teen Health for Middle School and the Glencoe Teen Health 9-12 health curriculum and McGraw Hill Autentico Spanish curriculum.

Per District policy, these materials must be made available for public review for 30 days prior to the School Board voting to purchase them.  To this end, the materials are now available in the Central Office, and community members are welcome to stop by to evaluate them between now and June 14.  Attached to each textbook is a survey sheet that we are requesting be completed to submit community input on the selection.
