KHS Students Share Holiday Greetings

The students in Miss McLafferty's 9th and 10th grade classes have been learning various forms of figurative language. To apply their learning, they created their own Christmas card messages, using each of the different forms of figurative language. They handwrote their messages and added a picture/colorful decoration, signing all the cards "a student at Knoch High School." The students identified groups of individuals who will most likely not receive many Christmas gifts or cards, and they voted on where they wanted to send their cards to. As a group, they voted for the residents at Concordia in Saxonburg and inmates of the Butler County Prison. The students made about 100 cards for prisoners and about 70 for Concordia residents.

Well done!
