A great opportunity presented itself for a group of Knoch High School students. Students from AP Physics and the gifted program attended the Mars New Year Presents: Countdown Breakfast yesterday at the Cranberry Regional Learning Alliance. Speakers included Dr. Michelle Lucas, a former ISS Flight Controller and Astronaut Instructor, now Founder & CEO of Higher Orbits. This event serves as a kickoff to the Mars Township Go For Launch celebration in June. Students were invited to attend virtual events and work with NASA scientists to develop a project.
