Girls' Basketball Playoff update: Final Score Knoch 35 - Highlands 38
Top scorers - Adah Fuller (14 points) and Naturelle Ewing (13 points)
Knoch started the fourth quarter down 32-23, then took the lead 35-34 with 1 minute to go before Woody Tyarah hit a layup to give Highlands the lead 36-35 with 18 seconds left. Kate Myers hit 2 crucial foul shots to allow Highlands to take the lead 38-35. Knoch had the ball out of bounds with 16 seconds but were unable to get a clean shot as the buzzer sounded.
Knoch (15-11) will now wait to play in the first round of the PIAA Playoffs as the 7-6 seed March 9 vs. the 10-1 team. Highlands will be the 7-5 seed and play either the 9-1 or the 8-1 seed.
